Dallas ISD seeking temporary board of trustees member after resignation

Dallas ISD is searching for a temporary trustee to fill a now vacated seat on their board.

The DISD Board of Trustees accepted the resignation of Jaime Resendez on Tuesday.

He represented District 4, which covers southeast Dallas, Seagoville, and Balch Springs.

The board is now looking to fill that seat until May, when an election will take place to appoint a trustee to a regular, three-year term of office.

Candidates interested in the temporary position must submit a resume and statement of interest to Dallas ISD by Feb. 19.
