DALLAS - Dallas police are warning the public about a string of robberies in east Dallas targeting older Hispanic men.
At least 10 robberies happened last month. Seven happened in the morning on 4th Street, Fitzhugh and Columbia avenues. Three other robberies happened at night on Annex and Bennett avenues.
Two victims were shot. Others were pistol-whipped and robbed. Most of the victims are day laborers in their 60s or 70s, police said.
Police did not release a good description of the suspects. Sometimes there are two attackers and sometimes there is just one.
They drove either a black Nissan or Toyota, police said.
