A new study finds that several North Texas cities are some of the best in the country for the young and the wealthy.

GOBankingRates analyzed several statistics to put together a list of the top 50 cities for millennials (ages 25-44) making more than $150,000 per years.

The information is based on data from the U.S. Census, FBI crime stats, Zillow and more.

Cities were given a rating based on the livability, cost of living and opportunities.

Richardson (18) was the top North Texas city on the list. The city's low crime rate helped it earn its spot on the list.

Denton (19), Dallas (28), Irving (34) and Lewisville (46) also cracked the top 50.

Austin (8) and Odessa (41) were the other Texas cities to make the list.

Cambridge, Massachusetts topped the list, followed by Jersey City, New Jersey and Santa Clara, California.
