Carlo's Bakery, made famous by 'Cake Boss', to open Dallas location

The New Jersey-based bakery featured on the hit TV show Cake Boss will open a location in Dallas.

Carlo’s Bakery will open its first Texas store in Preston Center in March. It will be the thirteenth location of Carlo’s Bakery, with most located in New Jersey and New York.

"We've seen incredible growth in the past year and I'm so excited Dallas is going to be a part of that!" said ‘Cake Boss’ Buddy Valastro in a statement. "The city is filled with charm and warm hospitality, it really is the perfect fit for Carlo's Bakery. With so many families in Dallas, I'm looking forward to the bakery being welcomed into their homes and onto their tables."

Carlo’s Bakery was opened in 1910, but became famous thanks to the TLC show Cake Boss, which is currently in its seventh season.

The bakery will be located in the 8300 block of Preston Road.
