Burleson PD: Deadly shooting was actually over drugs
BURLESON, Texas - Burleson police say a man’s murder on Monday who was driven to police headquarters was a drug deal gone bad. Initially, police were told it was a case of road rage.
The driver of the car told dispatchers a car was chasing them and had shot his friend, Todd Neal J., who was the passenger in the car.
The driver went to Burleson PD. From there, Neal was taken to a hospital where he died.
However, detectives say the confrontation actually started in a parking lot off of Alta Mesa in Fort Worth. Police say the victim was targeted after a confrontation related to drugs.
Police say Keilon Warren was the driver of the car chasing the victim. He was arrested and charged with murder.
