Box truck crashes into billboard, business in Fort Worth
FORT WORTH, Texas - Crews are working to restore power in southeast Fort Worth where a box truck slammed into the side of a building.
The crash happened around 9 a.m. Friday on Highway 287 near Cobb Park Drive. Police haven’t released any details but video from SKY 4 showed the scene.
The driver of a box truck appeared to have gone off the service road, smashed through a billboard and utility pole and hit the side of a commercial building. The truck had significant damage.
Medstar officials said one person was seriously hurt and rushed to the hospital.
Oncor said about 2,400 customers in the area lost power because of the crash.
