Teenager shot and killed in Oak Cliff; Dallas police investigating

What we know:

Oak Cliff - A teenager was shot and killed in Oak Cliff early Friday morning, according to Dallas police.

The shooting occurred in the 3400 block of Great Trinity Forest Way just before 2 a.m.

Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene and found 17-year-old Anthony Thomas, who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.

What we don't know:

It is unclear whether Thomas attended school in Dallas ISD.
