Alpine police have released photos of two car vehicles believed to be involved in the disappearance of 22-year-old Keller native Zuzu Verk.
Police were already looking for information about a Jeep and a Miata. Now they want to know the whereabouts of a F-150 pickup and a Ford Mustang on the morning of October 12th, the morning of Verk's disappearance.
On Sunday Verk's family talked to FOX 4 on Skype.
"She's a wonderful person and there are a lot of people that have fallen in love with her over the years," Verk's father Glenn told us.
Crews have been searching in the west Texas in the town of Alpine, where she disappeared. She attends college there at Sul Ross State University. She was reported missing October 12th when she missed a mid-term. So far volunteers and investigators, on horseback and in helicopters, have searched an estimated 400 square miles for her.
The one person police believe knows something is Robert Fabian, Zuzu's boyfriend of six months.
Verk's mother Lori said, "He's been invited into our home. He's been invited into our hearts because our daughter cares -- well, he's important to Zuzu so sure we've invited him into our hearts as well."
They've also invited him to help search for their daughter, but say he's yet to respond. Police have named him a person of interest and say both he and his attorney are not cooperating. His lawyer, Liz Rogers, declined comment Sunday.
"All we need is that one person that knows something and can tell us just whatever it is to help us find Zuzu, " MIles Verk, Zuzu's brother said.
Police have released pictures of a Jeep and a Miata, which a friend says is Zuzu's car, as well as a F-150 and now a Ford mustang. Online records show the F-150 belongs to a family member of Fabian, although police have not confirmed that.
