Alleged drunken driver crashes into police car on Hwy. 75

DALLAS - A woman was charged with a DWI after crashing her car into a parked Dallas police car early Wednesday morning.

It happened around 12:15 a.m. while several officers were parked on the Central Expressway near Forest Lane to block the scene of an accident.

Police said the woman’s car hit the police car and then rolled on its side.

The officers rescued the woman and then gave her a field sobriety test. She was then arrested.

The officer was not in the vehicle and not hurt.
