LIVE | Ivory Coast, Norway meet for World Cup knockout match at Dallas Stadium
Dallas Stadium will be swarming with fans wearing red and blue, as well as orange and green, on Tuesday as Norway takes on Ivory Coast.
It’s the first Round of 32 elimination match in Arlington in this World Cup.
Norway, whose fans are known for their "Viking Row" chant, is making its first World Cup appearance since 1998. The team finished the group stage 2-0-1 to advance to the knockout round for only the second time ever.
The man to watch on the pitch is Erling Haaland, who is already the nation’s all-time leading scorer at just 25 years old’ He's one of the most talented strikers in the world.
Meanwhile, this is Ivory Coast’s first-ever trip to the World Cup knockout round. The team, nicknamed "Les Elephants," made it out of the group stage 2-1 for the first time in four World Cup appearances.
Tuesday’s match kicks off at noon.
