FRISCO, Texas - Two former Dallas Cowboys teammates are working together again to build a residential tower at The Star in Frisco.
Roger Staubach and Robert Shaw are behind the new real estate development called Twelve.
“It’s 17 stories and we’re leasing right now. It’s gonna be a while before everybody can get moved in. But it’s right in the middle of The Star. The Jones family are our partners and they are going out of their way to make sure that whoever leases in that project is going to have special amenities and special privileges,” said Staubach, who wore No. 12 when he was the quarterback for the Cowboys.
Apartment units will start at $2,700 a month. Each comes with a Cowboys Club membership, a Fit membership and a 24-hour concierge. There’s also a maid service, room service and more.
“The Jones family has created a great base for us to work with at The Star and we’re getting the opportunity to create the first luxury residential high-rise affiliated with a sports team,” Shaw said. “So it’s unique. It’s not just any franchise. It’s the most valuable sports franchise in the world. And so to have the opportunity to work with the Jones family, create this project and idea and put it in The Star is pretty special.”
The apartment won't be available until next year but already people are signing up for the chance to live where the Cowboys practice. A showroom is open to potential tenants by appointment only.
