Grandma Regonini’s Tomato Sauce
16 oz Pomadorino Tomato
2 lb Whole Plum Tomatoes
1/4 cup Tomato Paste
8 Garlic Cloves
1 Meduim Onion
1/4 cup Basil
1/2 cup Oregano
3 tsp Kosher Salt
2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- Heat oil in stockpot.
- Sautee garlic and onion. (leave onion whole)
- Once the garlic is browned remove from oil.
- Add all other ingredients and blend.
- Cook at a simmer for 2 hours.
- Blend and cook an additional 30 min.
- Check seasoning.
