Give blood this week to honor Tim Ryan
Tim Ryan has donated more than 17 gallons of blood to Carter Blood Care over the years. How about you??
DALLAS - Throughout the week, Good Day has been encouraging viewers to donate blood in honor of Tim Ryan’s final week before retirement.
Tim does not just talk the talk. He’s given more than 17 gallons of blood over the years and on Wednesday donated once more.
His daughter, Meghan, joined him and also gave blood this week.

While they were there, a Good Day viewers stopped by to make donations.
"I came today because of the drive Tim Ryan’s having for blood. This is my seventh time donating, so I think I’m close to a gallon maybe," she said.
Viewer Lennette Rogers shared a picture of herself making a donation. She said Tim will be missed, but she was glad to give blood in support.
A lot of viewers joined her and the blood drive has exceeded expectations. Carter BloodCare said it has received nearly 2,000 units of whole blood and 490 unites of platelets so far.
There's still one day to go. If you’d like to donate, Carter BloodCare has 21 donor centers throughout North Texas.
