Snow covers Gaylord Texan lawn for special reveal
GRAPEVINE, Texas - Guests at the Gaylord Texans got a cool break from the Texas summer heat Tuesday.
The resort transformed its front lawn into a winter wonderland with real snow to reveal the theme for the 2018 ICE! exhibit – Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Kids were able to make snow angels and throw a few snow balls. Rudolph and Santa Claus even joined the party with snow cones.
Each year, 40 master ice carvers travel from China to hand-carve two million pounds of ice into sculptures and holiday scenes.
The hotel’s signature ICE! exhibit opens in November.
