PD: Man shot during home invasion in Fort Worth

A man is recovering from a shooting following a home invasion at a mobile home park in Fort Worth.

Police said it happened around 2 a.m. in the 4900 block of Collett Little Road.  

Several people broke into the mobile home demanding money and jewelry, police said.

The victims, a father and son, locked themselves in a room .

The father was hit by a bullet when someone opened fire. police said.

The father was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

Police are still looking for the suspects involved.
