Man fatally shot at Arlington's Lincoln Square
ARLINGTON, Texas - Arlington police are investigating a deadly shooting outside a popular mall area.
It happened around 10 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of the Lincoln Square on the city’s north side.
Police said a man in his 40s confronted his daughter and her boyfriend. The father shot the boyfriend and then ran over both of them with his pickup truck.
The boyfriend, a man in his 20s, died at the scene. The gunman’s daughter was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
Officers found him several hours later in a parking lot on W. Division Street. He was dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police are still investigating the case. They have not released the identities of those involved.
