Fort Worth SWAT standoff ends peacefully
FORT WORTH, Texas - Fort Worth police spent hours negotiating with a man holed up in his house late Sunday night.
The standoff started just before midnight at a house on the far north side of the city on Silver Sage Drive, which is near Western Center and Basswood boulevards.
The man had a rifle and was reportedly threatening to commit suicide. He also pointed the rifle at officers.
