Dallas Shooting: 2 women killed, female suspect arrested

Two women are dead after a shooting in Dallas near Fair Park.

Dallas police said it happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday in an apartment in the 3000 block of South Boulevard.

Officers found the two women, 17-year-old Drenesia Willis and 40-year-old LaNeshaia Pinkard, with gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital where they later died.

Doris Walker, 65, was identified as the person who shot Willis and Pinkard.

Walker was charged with capital murder and is currently in the Dallas County Jail.

Police say the suspect and victims were known to each other, but further details were not given.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
