Dallas police searching for suspects behind deadly home invasion

DALLAS - Dallas police are asking for help identifying several men who broke into a home Sunday morning and shot two people inside, killing one of them.

Surveillance video from the home on Veterans Drive near Ledbetter Drive and Bonnie View Road captured images of the men outside.

Police said they stormed into the house around 3 a.m. for a home invasion robbery. They shot 30-year-old Jimmy Giddings and 38-year-old Nikita Dickerson.

Giddings died at the hospital. Dickerson was taken to the hospital as well but was later released. A child was also in the home but was not injured.
