11 flu-related deaths reported in Dallas County
Two more people have died from the flu in Dallas County.
The latest victims, a 71-year-old Grand Prairie resident and a 95-year-old from Mesquite.
Dallas County Health and Human Services says both victims had underlying health conditions and died after complications from the flu.
There have been more than 1,600 people hospitalized from the flu in Dallas County.
The Centers for Disease Control recommends getting a flu shot, washing your hands, and staying home if your sick to prevent the flu from spreading.
