Dallas weather: Dec. 13 morning forecast

Spooky skies today across North Texas on Friday the 13th. Plus, are you running the Dallas Marathon? If you are running or on the sidelines cheering on your friends and family, here's what the weather will look like.

Spooky weather is fitting for this Friday the 13th in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Gray skies will cover the metroplex throughout the day, with light sprinkles expected early Friday morning. By the afternoon, lighter showers will continue under overcast skies, and temperatures will stay in the low 60s.

Shower activity will increase Friday night, with the possibility of isolated rumbles of thunder. However, no severe weather is expected.

Saturday will bring a welcome change, with dry air and pleasant temperatures in the low 70s under mostly sunny skies.

Clouds return Sunday, keeping temperatures in the low 70s. There’s a slight chance of showers, but stronger rain is likely to hold off until Monday morning.

As fall transitions to winter in just over a week, cold weather will take a back seat, with milder conditions expected across the metroplex over the next seven days.
