The tornado watch was issued for the DFW Metroplex to the east until 10 p.m.
Softball-sized hail was the biggest threat, along with damaging winds. Several funnel clouds were reported in Northeast Texas.

Wednesday Forecast: Storm Chances Highest to the East
Temperatures climbed into the 90s for the second consecutive day.
We hit 95 degrees on Wednesday, tying a record-high in DFW for May 8, which tied a record from 1933.
