Deborah Brown was a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. She served from 1973 to 1976. Morris Corridon served in the United States Navy from 1948 to 1952. He was stationed in post-war Japan. Marvis Favors was a First Staff Sergeant in the United States Army. He served from 1976 to 2012.

Robert Crosby served in the United States Coast Guard from 1978 to 1984 in Petaluma, California. Major Dorian Lebeau is a United States Army veteran who served for 30 years. Jerry Qualls served in the Army from 1954 to 1956. He did basic training in Fort Hood and was stationed at Fort Lewis in Washington, D.C. He's a veteran of the Korean War and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan.

Tyler Durst served in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Syria from 2019 to 2020. Johnny Echavarria was in the U.S. Air Force from 1981 to 1987 and was stationed in Lajes Field Azores, Portugal. Robert Jones served in World War II in the Merchant Marines and he served in the Korean War in the United States Marine Corps.

Jack Buck served in the U.S. Air Force from 1989 to 1993 in Fort Worth at the former Carswell Air Force Base. Retired Marine Gunnery Sgt. Paul Easterling served from 1991 to 2014 at Camp Pendleton, California, 29 Palms, California, Miramar, California, and Quantico, Virginia. Sgt. Major Ronald Green, the 18th Sgt. Major of the US Marine Corps, served for 36 years and 6 months.

Here's To You: Cedar Hill Firefighters Association

The firefighters at the Cedar Hill Firefighters Association raised money for a woman in breast cancer treatment by selling T-shirts at the station. The association gave Maria a $1,000 check to help her out

Here's To You: Rhonda Neal

Tom Thumb Store Director Rhonda Neal lost her sister to breast cancer, her sister-in-law to breast cancer complications and has gone through her own breast cancer battle. Her team members at the Tom Thumb in Rockwall dressed up in pink to show their support.

Here's To You: Mashona Brooks-Bryant

Mashona Brooks-Bryant was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in Dec. 2019. After treatment which included chemotherapy and a double mastectomy she rang the bell on Feb. 9, 2021. The disease grew back. After 33 doses of radiation she rang the bell again on Sept. 28, 2022.

The Episilon Alpha chapter of Omega Psi Phi support students at L. Clifford Elementary School in Fort Worth with their annual backpack and school supply donations.

Patriot Paws gives service dogs to disabled veterans

The Rockwall non-profit is partnering service dogs with veterans who need a little extra help around the house. The non-profit says more than 200 of its service dogs have been placed free of charge to restore physical and emotional independence.

Volunteers assemble clothing packages for those in need

First Presbyterian Church of Plano was established 152 years ago. Among its many ministries is The Clothes Closet. Volunteers assemble clothing for women, children and men plus small household items for the homeless and people in need.

3-year-old Isaac Zebrowski asked family and friends to bring new plush toys for his birthday so he could donate them to The Rainbow Room.

Hospital staff collect school supplies for kids

Baylor, Scott & White Hospital staff partnered with non-profits and collected more than 600 backpacks filled with school supplies for students in low-income families in the North Texas area and Central Texas area.

Girl, 11, uses birthday to collect food donations

Austen Lee's family tradition means a birthday is an opportunity to help others. Siblings and friends attended her Adventure Awaits-themed birthday party. Instead of birthday gifts, Austen's living room was filled with food from her guests.
