A fiery crash on Interstate-30 could have ended a man’s life Saturday morning, if not for the witnesses who jumped in to help.
Eric Snorden was in Arlington, driving home from work when spotted a vehicle crashed on the side of the road, burning.
“I saw a car, it was like, over the safety railing and the front part was wrapped around the pole and the back was sticking up and I saw flames and stuff,” he said.
Snorden says two men had already pulled over to help. One was calling 911 and the other was trying to revive the unconscious driver.
“You're running, but at the same time you're like the car's gonna blow up, he's gonna die, we're all gonna die,” said Snorden.
That’s when Snorden says they managed to pull him to safety. Help arrived a short time later.
25-year-old Zack Sprinkle is charged with Driving While Intoxicated. As for Snorden, he says he never got the names of the other two men who helped, but says he’d do it again if he had to.
“It's not about this or that or the problems we have going on in the world, we got together and we saved a life. Regardless of whether he was drunk or whatever, his life still mattered,” said Snorden.
Sprinkle was taken to Medical Center in Arlington where he was treated for his injuries.
