BIG PINE KEY, Fla. (FOX 13) - One of Florida’s favorite athletes teamed up with U.S. Senator Marco Rubio for Hurricane Irma relief in the Keys. Former Florida Gators football star -- and now minor league baseball player -- Tim Tebow handed out meals and ice to some of the hardest hit victims of Irma.
Big Pine Key residents greeted Tebow and Rubio, who were there to serve lunch to those affected by the storm and thank volunteers.
Tebow posed for pictures and signed autographs before the luncheon was held.
