Dallas detectives hope new surveillance video generates leads on a sexual predator they're trying to identify who targeted women in Deep Ellum over the weekend.
Police believe the footage shows the attacker's car, which appears to be a gold Mercedes-Benz convertible with a black soft top.
Investigators previously released surveillance video of the attacker walking through Deep Ellum with his first victim early Saturday about 2 a.m. After being assaulted, the woman said she jumped from his moving car near Mockingbird and Central Expressway.
An hour later, a second victim was attacked while leaving Deep Ellum. That woman was on the phone with her boyfriend at the time and he rushed to her and fought with the attacker, who escaped.
