Love Field adds new parking garage, lowers daily rates

DALLAS - Relief is coming after years of parking problems at Love Field Airport in Dallas.

A third parking garage will open at the airport on Thursday. It will add 5,000 new parking spots just in time for the holidays.

The city of Dallas is also lowering the cost of parking in its garages in an effort to attract frustrated travelers. Many have turned to services like Uber to avoid the trouble of looking for a parking spot.

The rates at Love Field will start at $7 a day.
