A judge has dismissed the misdemeanor domestic assault charge against Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel.
The former Cleveland Browns and Texas A&M quarterback was under a conditional dismissal agreement that officially ended Wednesday. The conditions included rehab and anger management.
Manziel was charged with hitting his ex-girlfriend, kidnapping her and threatening to kill her in January 2016 at Hotel Zaza in Dallas.
He could have faced up to a year in jail and a $4,000 fine.
