DALLAS - Dallas Fire-Rescue’s bomb squad checked out a suspicious package near a Dallas Area Rapid Transit station in Downtown Dallas.
DFR spokesman Jason Evans said a delivery driver noticed the package in the 2300 block of Bryan Street around 12:30 p.m. Thursday. The driver reportedly heard ticking and vibration coming from the package.
The fire department blocked off several surrounding streets while the bomb squad checked it out but they didn’t find anything harmful.
The package contained a computer motherboard, Evans said.
